Who I Am

A technology and education professional with 25+ years of impact across engineering, government, and academia.

I am Yasser Ahmed Basyouni, a Technology and Education Leader with over 25 years of professional experience spanning software engineering, educational technology, digital transformation, academic teaching, and technical consulting.

My journey began at the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering. I started my career as a Computer Engineer at Misr Computer Company in Egypt, before relocating to Kuwait where I joined the Ministry of Education as a Software Engineer — a role I continue to this day.

Over the years, I have contributed to significant government digital initiatives, developed interactive educational content for GCC schools, taught computer science at multiple Kuwaiti universities, and published mobile applications used by thousands of learners across the region.

My dual expertise in technology and education allows me to bridge the gap between technical development and meaningful learning outcomes — whether building enterprise systems, designing e-learning platforms, or mentoring student developers on their graduation projects.
